Brief Introduction : In 1957 it was decided to give a version specially prepared to pilots and was involved once again Bertone , using estrus and aeronautical engineering by Franco Scaglione, began to outline the future Giulietta Sprint Speciale which went into production in 1959 with very advanced aerodynamics and exasperated , also studied by direct observation of flows by means of strands of wool applied to the car body launched at high speed on the Turin -Milan motorway. The engine of the SS was enhanced ( +10 hp compared to the last Sprint Veloce ) up to the high level of 100 hp which brought the speed reached 200 km/h.
